MIRE WOMEN DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (MWDC) focus is to create development in the broadest sense especially through the establishment and implementation of projects that aim at transferring knowledge, skills and capacity to individuals and communities.
MWDC envisaged a knowledgeable and stilled women community in kasese District through education that is able to pass ideas and influence decisions for women development.
To empower the rural women in kasese district through education and engaging them in incomegenerating projects for poverty alleviation in their homestead and uplifting their standards of living for a health women communities
The group started in the year 2020 by 6 women rights activist to promote women empowerment,
raise the awareness of women ,young girls, and the public on women’s roles and other women’s
related issues and peace building and to foster community development in the area.
